Invite terms

Invite the pilots you fly with to Pilotlog. They get their first month of Pro free, and you earn a free month for every two of them who subscribe. These terms explain how it works. It is run by DNG Tech Ltd, the maker of Pilotlog.

For the pilot you invite

1. A free first month. A new account that enters an invite code within 14 days of signing up gets its first month of Pro free, before paying anything.
2. Who. Only an account that never had Pro or a free trial, and only once per iPhone or iPad. The code is entered in the Pilotlog app on an iPhone or iPad. Nobody can use their own code.
3. After it. When the free month ends, Pro continues only if you subscribe. Apple may still offer its own free trial.

For you, the pilot who invites

4. A free month for every two. An invited pilot counts once their first paid period of Pro has gone 14 days without a refund, on the App Store or on the web. A free trial or the free month doesn't count, and a refund within the 14 days means they never count. You get one free month for every two pilots who count; one on their own carries over to the next.
5. The most you can earn. Up to 12 free months in any 365 days.
6. How you get it. If you pay through the App Store, the app shows your free month and you redeem it there; it applies at your next renewal, one at a time. Without an App Store subscription, your Pro is extended by a month from the end of any free Pro you already have.
7. Checked. Free months can be checked before they are given, for example when invited pilots share one network or one company domain. We may remove invites that break these terms, and that decision is final.

For everyone

8. No cash. A free month can't be swapped for cash or given to someone else.
9. Changes. We can change or end invites. A free month already given stays yours.

You only see your own counts, never who redeemed your code. Our privacy policy explains what we keep for invites.
